Mrs. Shea’s Science Class

I am glad that you are considering joining the Science Club. This club was designed to enhance the educational process, especially in the areas of Math and Science. All activities reinforce concepts that are being taught, or have been taught in the classroom.

There are some rules you will have to obey to maintain your active member status. They are as follows:

You must hold at least a “C” average in all academic classes.

You can not have more than 5 minor offenses in one nine week period.

You can have no more than 2 major offenses in a nine week period.

You must attend 85% of all scheduled meetings.

If you decide to join please know that:

Most meetings will be held before school from 7:30-7:45

There will be some activities held after school.

The Club sponsors can suspend your active member status at any time.

You must participate in the school Science Fair.

You must represent your school, club, and classmates well on any public outings.

If you are interested in joining, please have your parents sign the permission slip below. You must also sign signifying that you have read over all the rules and agree to them.
